Beat the Summer Heat!
When the weather is hot, your body can be exposed to heat stroke, heat
exhaustion and other heat-related problems. Everyone is at risk in extreme
heat,
particularly children, the elderly and pets.
Here are some things you should consider:

Avoid the sun as much as possible

Use fans and air conditioning whenever possible
|

Drink fluids, particularly water, as needed
|

|
Wear a hat and/or use an umbrella to block the
sun's
rays
|

|
Cover your skin with loose-fitting clothing
|

|
If you can, reschedule any activities that might be
done outdoors
|

|
If you can, reschedule any activities that are
overly-strenuous
|

|
And remember, pets and children should NEVER be
left
in cars, vans or other vehicles
