This presentation will provide an overview of the spectrum of Jewish communities, including Orthodox, Hasidic, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist, and secular Jews. Religious, cultural, and communal norms will be discussed for each group. Particular focus will be paid to Jewish ritual law and cultural values and their implications for both medical and mental health treatment.
