Yes I Can! Therapeutic Nursery
Our Goal
The Therapeutic Nursery's goal is to work in a partnership with children and
their families to maintain children with emotional and psychiatric needs in
their homes and in the community. We collaborate with Families, Day Care
Centers, Pre-School Programs and Pediatricians to plan strategies and
interventions which support the child's safe level of functioning at home
and in a community setting.
There are two levels of care offered in the Therapeutic Nursery. One level
of care is an outpatient model and services are typically provided 1-2 times
a week. The other level of care is a partial hospital program for children
that require more structure and support throughout the day. The Partial
Hospital Program provides treatment 5 days a week, 3 ½ hours a day.
Referral & Intake Process
To refer a child to the "Yes I Can!" Therapeutic Nursery Outpatient or
Partial Hospital Program, please call 908-994-7082. A clinician will conduct
a telephone intake to ask questions related to the request for services,
which will help to guide you to the appropriate program. They will help
determine whether the child requires more traditional outpatient services or
a more intensive level of care in the Partial Hospital Program. An intake
appointment is then scheduled in person to discuss treatment planning.
Outpatient Level of Care
The Therapeutic Nursery provides an outpatient level of care for 3-5 year
olds and their families. Services include:

Psychiatrist

Partial Hospital Program
The "Yes I Can!" Therapeutic Nursery Partial Hospital Program is for
children 3-5 years old. These children require a more intensive level of
care and more structure throughout their day. Typically, they are at risk of
losing their day care/school placement; or, at risk of requiring inpatient
level of care.
