Employee of the Month
There's SomethingAbout Kim...
Kim consistently does more than her assigned responsibilities, and is a true asset to the Center. She has helped to implement a new case management and scheduling system to improve the overall functioning of the Center.
Kim has visited other wound care centers to increase her knowledge of both wound care management. She has been instrumental in monitoring key performance indicators, and assuring the integrity of the data in our I-Heal point of service database.
Kim has voluntarily taken on additional responsibilities related to organizing lunches for the staff, and our holiday dinner.
Kim is a very competent clinical coordinator, and truly exemplifies the mission of Trinitas Regional Medical Center in her compassionate care to patients. Whether she is working with the RN's or her own patients, she has a positive attitude and excels.
Having a very calm approach, she helps set the friendly tone of the Center, and is represented by her patients, colleagues, the medical director, program director and all the physicians.
Kim never complains when circumstances become difficult. In fact, in those difficult instances, she puts a positive spin on the situation in an effort to keep staff morale up, which is very important in tight quarters. She gets her work done quietly, and in a very timely fashion
Kim knows that patients come first. If a patient needs a VAC or ancillary tests requiring follow ups, the paperwork and phone calls will be made the same day. She has excellent communication skills, and patients and their families are impressed with her proactive approach and thoroughness. She never gets agitated when accomplishing her many tasks.
Kim is a team player, and is supportive of her co-workers. She is our go-to-person. When the day issues arise and there are many alternatives, the group often will collectively agree to determine the best approach to implement.
Kim touches all those she comes in contact with, and is an excellent example of the hospital's core values.
