Visitor Guidelines

--Visitors must obtain a visiting pass at the Information Desk in the Main Lobby
--Only two visitors are permitted in a patient's room at one time
--Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to visit
--Visitors must leave the patient's room during the doctor's visit, while treatment is being given, or upon request of the nurse
--Children should not be left unattended in the Main Lobby

Visiting Hours
Please observe following visiting hours for the well-being of all patients.
General Visiting
11am-8pm

Maternity Visiting
Fathers: 9am-10pm
Family: By appointment

General (Maternity) Visiting
2-3pm, 7-8pm
(Babies are returned to Nursery)

ICUs:
10am, 1pm, 6pm, and 8pm
(Immediate family only, short periods)

If a special situation arises and you cannot observe these visiting hours, please contact the Nursing Office at extension 5362 or the Administrative Supervisor at extension 5000.

I am interested in applying for a job at Trinitas. How do I get started?
All open job positions are listed at http://www.TrinitasHospital.org/human_resources.htm and are updated weekly. Instructions for applying are found with each listing. If you would like to call the Human Resources Department to discuss a particular job listing please call 908-994-5325.

How do I get a copy of my birth certificate?
Birth certificate records for babies born at Elizabeth General Medical Center, St. Elizabeth Hospital and Trinitas Regional Medical Center are kept at Elizabeth City Hall, 50 Winfield Scott Plaza, Elizabeth, NJ 07201. Please call the Office of Vital Statistics at: 908-820-4082.

How do I get a copy of my medical record?
Medical records may be obtained by patients or family members by calling the Health Information Department at 908-994-5316. There is a fee to obtain medical records. Please note that State law requires hospitals to keep records for several years. Some requests for older information may not be accommodated.

How do I get information on the Trinitas School of Nursing?
Trinitas School of Nursing and Union County College conduct a highly successful Cooperative Nursing Program which offers a Diploma in Nursing and an Associate in Science Degree.
