TRINITAS GALA RAISES MORE THAN $450,000
"Trinitas Heroes" Theme Honored Medical/Dental Staff and Wachovia/WellsFargo
More than 500 guests enjoyed an evening of fine dining, socializing and entertainment in May at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany as the Trinitas Health Foundation hosted its annual Gala. The event raised more than $465,000 to benefit Trinitas and its patients. A Silent Auction held during the event raised more than $32,000. Elizabeth native, NJ Burkett, New York WABC-News national and international broadcast journalist, reprised his role as Master of Ceremonies for the evening that included entertainment by Tim McLoone and The Shirleys.
The Foundation acknowledged the dedication of the Trinitas medical and dental staff with its Humanitarian award and the generosity of Wachovia/Wells Fargo with its Philanthropy award. Also appearing at the cocktail reception was Al Harrington, the 6'9" Forward of the New York Knicks and Union County native (pictured here with Nadine Brechner, Executive Director of Trinitas Health Foundation). The Foundation recognized Mr. Harrington for his commitment to underprivileged children of New Jersey.
