TRINITAS SCHOOL OF NURSING ANNOUNCES 35 GRADUATES
Thirty-five new nurses have joined the ranks of the profession following their completion of studies at the Trinitas School of Nursing. Convocation exercises were held recently at the Union County College campus in Cranford.
Trinitas School of Nursing conducts a Cooperative Nursing Program with Union County College and confers a Diploma in Nursing from Trinitas and an Associate Degree from the College.
Initially offering nursing studies as the Elizabeth General Medical Center School of Nursing, Trinitas School of Nursing has been in continuous operation since 1891.
The School takes pride in one of the highest pass rates experienced among its students who take The National Council Licensing Exam (NCLEX) for registered nurse licensure. Since 1990, 97 percent of the school's graduates have passed the NCLEX exam on first writing.

Wilfredo P. Castillo, Kimberly A. Danatzko, Tiffany Dawn LeBeau, Rosette Quiwa and Estella W. Wachira all graduated with nursing honors.
Other award recipients included: Aida Guadalupe Brito and Tiffany LeBeau, the Lily Bierstein Memorial Award; Wilfredo Castillo, Second Scholarship and Nursing Service Awards; Kimberly A. Danatzko, The Give Back Award; Sonia Figueiredo, the June Palmieri Crincoli Memorial Award; David Gulowsen, Alumni Association Award; Datra Harley, the Curtis Crumbley Memorial Award; Vernon Johnson, Auxiliary Award; Rosette Quiwa, First Scholarship, General Proficiency and Nursing Service Awards; Winnie Simon, Gerontological Nursing Award, and Estella Wachira, the Naeisha Massenburg Memorial Award.
