The Women's Imaging Center at Trinitas Hospital was created to focus on meeting the special health care needs of women in our community.

Our new, technologically advanced, FDA-approved and MQSA (Mammography Quality Standards Act) certified facility provides the services – mammography, stereotactic needle biopsy, ultrasound and bone densitometry – that are essential in addressing women's concerns.

The latest in low-dose mammography equipment is in use at Trinitas, and now a comprehensive Women's Imaging Center features a one-stop approach to women's healthcare including bone densitometry testing, ultrasound, minimally invasive stereotactic breast imaging and ultrasound-guided aspiration/biopsy. The Women's Imaging Center is part of a $3.8 million investment in radiologic imaging. Other enhancements include a new MRI and CT Scanner that offer maximum patient comfort and shorter exam times.
